It is a tale for the love and adulation for cars. And yes if the love bug takes you on then we must say you are sure to do something really out of the world. 17 persons crammed into a Volswagen Beetle  to set a new record  as a compensation for their craze for cars.
We are sure none of them might have ever experienced any discomfort sitting in. The car which was taken on loan from Classic Camber in Pinellas Park could comfortably fit four or five but accommodating a good 17 was like doing something close to impossible.
Perhaps their passion had gone up to such a level that the concept of space and comfort might have taken a back seat.
Jaffares Heddman coordinator of Pasco Bug Jam said that they had set the record even while entertaining the Volswagen lovers.
The Pasco Bug jam hosted by the non-profit Pasco County Fair Association Inc., is the largest Volkswagen show in the Southeast and the second largest in the country, Hedman said.
Participants come from throughout the country, and even foreign countries, to enter the show that last year had more than 500 VWs entered.
The Bug Jam includes hundreds of Volswagen  parts , vendors, children’s games which are staged with an objective of entertainment. The proceeds from the Bug jam benefits various hospitals and nonprofit organization working for the upliftment of mankind.
So this is  like making the passionate lovers of Volswagen happy and at the same time doing something noble in the process. It is bringing a smile back into the face of the community.
The Bug Jam has donated nearly  $ 1,50,000  to All Children’s  Hospital   from the time of its inception 21 years ago. The Volswagen Beetle seen very rarely on roads has always been the much loved car and is fancied by many car lovers all over the world.

Hula Hooping is one of the exciting form of exercise.  It is good fitness programme which helps you to keep your body totally flexible. 363 students of Beaminster  Secondary School and from Beaminster St Mary keep their hula hoops totally hooked onto themselves for two minutes. It was like as though the hula hoops were stuck to them. The pupils performed the task with good tactc and panache for the skill.
The students smnashed the previous record for Most people Hula Hooping htat stood at just 342 in number.
Participants were split into their classes and moderated by their teachers as they attempted to keep their hula hoop spinning for two minutes whilst continuously dancing.
The organizer Gilly poulten said that it was really worth seeing the students perform. It was lovely to see the whole school coming out there to take part in the event.
It is certainly a unique task to set a world record and it gets even more special when the entire school gathers together to display their feat for setting a record.
The point was that alongside Hula Hooping they simultaneously danced for two minutes and put up a great show.
The hula hoops are twirled around the waist, limbs or neck. They are also used in circuses to perform stunts. Hoops of various sizes are hooped simultaneously at a faster pace  to amuse the audience.

Largest Piggyback Race

How about the idea to carry someone on your back and then run a race? While some of you may take it as a challenge others may feel that could get the going hard. This could well test your perseverance and athletic skills to run and get there. It a an upfront task considering that  you need to balance yourself too at the same time bear the person’s weight whom you are carrying on your back. Here we have a lot of enthusiastic participants who took it upon themselves to hold  their kids and pals on their back and take the 100 meter ride.
And the organizers went on to create just another history . True to their names History Maker Foundation  got 123 pairs (Piggy backing pairs)  ie a total of 326 persons to run the 100 meter  course in the Lower  Castle Park.
While running if anyone falls or loses balance in the process then they are termed disqualified.  The previous record for the Largest piggyback race counted to 296 participants  and was achieved by Diesel  at Allen gardens in United Kingdom.
330 persons started to run but however two of them fell down to only move out of the event. Anna Pancaldi from History Maker Foundation said that  they were absolutely thrilled after setting the new benchmark.
The inspiration for the record attempt came from a family photo of Joey Pancaldi giving his sister Charity a piggyback.  When Pancaldo died in a mountaineering accident the family  set up the History maker foundation to fund trips  for the disabled and disadvantaged children to the Compass Christian Centre in Perthshire.
It is a real fun to see the runners run as fast as they can and watch the people sitting on the backs beam with excitement.
The proceeds collected would benefit the disabled children. And it was really heartwarming to see so many people coming together to perform the race to raise money for a philantrophic purpose.
The largest piggyback race counted to 123 piggyback pairs (326 persons) set by History Maker Foundation at Colchester, United Kingdom on October 8, 2011.

Most People Spinning Dreidels

A Dreidel is a four sided spinning toy. It is usually found in many European Cultures. And people love to spin the dreidel. Even for the onlookers it is indeed exciting to see them spin .  Dreidels are widely used as gambling toys.  Each side of the dreidel bears a Hebrew alphabet. These letters form the rules of the mnemonic  of a gambling game. It is traditionally played in the Jewish holiday of Hannukah.
This fun of spinning a Dreidel did not leave the Yeshiva University campus. The students, Parents , Faculty and neighbours were smitten by this dreidel spinning bug. They all got together to boasts their spinning skills . All of the participants sat in groups waiting for their chance to spin the dreidel and also for the pride  of making a world record.
The event was tilted Dreidel Palooza  which was actually steered as a fund raising event. The fund raising was attempted for a noble purpose. It was to raise funds for aiding scholarship programmes for undergraduates so that students on merit  could afford to upgrade themselves academically . The "Dreidelpalooza" event is also a scholarship fundraising event. It happened at the school's athletic center at 184th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Some balanced the four-sided spinning top on the palm of their hand. Others flicked it into the air making it spin as it hit the floor. Participants from the Major League of Dreidel also took part in the event helping to teach children how to play various games in the "spinagogue" game board, a star-shaped board that encases the dreidel while it spins. The whole purpose was to get the best possible spinning time in three various rounds.
The event was organized by the voluntary organization Students helping Students a campus organization that helps  raise financial resources for  undergraduate aid.
Fiona Guedalia the co president of the organization said that they hoped as many students come out  as a winner  and especially those  who could benefit from the scholarship money  that was  raised through the event. All the participants were glad to be a part of the record.

Most Multiple Birth Children in a Single Class

Their entire class is almost hugely populated with twins and triplets. So the class is more of a sibling filled class than to call it as a group of students. The Pearce High School students junior class has about 10 sets of twins and one set of triplet to set a new world record.  In all the class has 23 juniors  to me it tagged as the sibling class.
Senior assistant Principal Chakosha said that it is easier to refer them by their last names. It is hard remembering the identical ones . And yes the twins and the triplets are not new to this confusion. They have encountered all this before. People often misrepresent them or mistake their identity. It all goes in the way of  being alike.
But apart from the usual stuff the twins and triplest were pleasantly baffled when they realized that they had become world record holders due to this natural purpose. Being born together at birth could get them achieve world recognition. So they all relished the fact of being born with their brothers and sisters.
Pearce shared that mark with Raymond J. Grey Junior High School in Acton, Mass. Overall, the junior class at Pearce has 429 students.
Pearce set a new distinguished world record when they went ahead with their plan of being recognized for the most number of  multiple birth students in a class.
Yes they do have close numbers following them for competing in the same title. The Freshman and Sophomore classes have seven sets of twins and the senior class has six.
Dani Glazer twin sister of Jackie said that she has been going to school with atleast three sets of twins since her kindergarten days. She is happy to note that the group has only got bigger with the passage of time.
The most number of multiple births counted to 10 sets of  twins and one set of  triplet at the Junior class of Pearce High School at Richardson, Texas, United States of America on December 28, 2010.

Most people Apple Bobbing

If you love apples then you are sure to try this one.  The game of apple bobbing is very common and most of the time it is played with excitement and enthusiasm.  Apples are less dense than water and often float on the surface of water. The players then have to catch the apples by holding it onto their teeth. One is not supposed to use one’s hands or arms while doing the process. The arms and hands are tied when the players get down to action.
The thrill starts as the players bend down to hold the apple one by one in their teeth taking it from the water and putting them aside. Usually the player who takes out maximum apples from the water within the shortest possible time is declared as the winner.
This time apples were bobbed to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Macintosh apple. As much as 357 apple enthusiasts assembled together to set the new world record and give a fitting tribute to the legendary software giant.  Robb Nelson from Mississauga, not only retrieved all 10 apples from his bucket using only his mouth, but managed to do so at lightning speed in a mere 32 seconds.
Robb Nelson could hardly believe the moment that he had created for himself. He added that he wanted to get all the apples out from the water without actually inhaling any water.
Tracy Airhart a teacher said  that apples have been a part of their heritage. Her ancestor John McIntosh is credited  with discovering McIntosh apple. Our goal was to give back to the local community by hosting a Winter Apple Ball on Family Day.
Although the event was free, each guest was invited to bring one or several Ontario apples, which would in turn be donated to Second Harvest, a charitable organization that feeds those in need.
Tonia Crauser Director of  Communications Second harvest said that they were humbled by the generosity of the attendees.
Many families donated 1,150 apples and over all they have 2,300 apples to be distributed to the hungry persons all over the city.
Ontario apples rank the best in the world. That is because of Ontario’s moderate temperatures, sunny days, cool nights  provide just the ideal conditions for the growth of healthy and juicy apples.
The most number of people apple bobbing counted to 357 persons and was set by Ontario Apple Growers at Toronto, Canada on February 23, 2011.
