Kolache Haven a treat for Kids

Tell me   would a piece of sausage from your plate   require the help of  five to ten men. The answer is an obvious no. But here   it did require a team of 5 to 10 persons to   help transport Kolache Haven’s ‘Sausage Kolache ‘.  You would know why it required so many people to lift it. This is because  the sausage  weighed 113 pounds  and measured 20 ft, 1 inch in length. So it would have been impossible for one person to single handedly lift it.
Syracuse Sausage supplied the 83 pounds of hickory-smoked, cheese-blend sausage. It fed a whole lot of people and made a whole lot of kids happy. A kolache is a baked pastry made with lightly sweetened dough filled with all sorts of goodness.  A popular favorite is stuffed with sausage and cheese, but in Texas you can find versions made with ham, bacon or chorizo — and occasionally a few jalapenos. Some kolaches   contain cream cheese, and the traditional fruit-filled ones are delicious as a breakfast tartlet or dessert. It took six bakers and 100 man hours   to come out with the final output.
The sausage was baked for the children   at Cumberland Presbyterian  Children’s Home Fall Family . The children were excited to gorge on the kolache sausages.
Kolache Haven, a sister company to Candy Haven in Denton,  bakes fresh bread to make your mouth water. The owner Boyle has been a food ingredient salesman for over 20 years and has brought all his  knowledge expertise into the business. Fourteen varieties of fruit Kolaches, gooey cinnamon rolls, strudels, bagels, and Apple Pull-a-Parts   deciding on a flavor difficult for any Kolache connoisseur. It doesn't stop there. Boyle uses quality sausage to make over a dozen meat Kolaches, ranging from spicy to mild. Breakfast Kolaches with various meats, cheeses and eggs are becoming favorite breakfast fare for many customers.
The Largest sausage Kolache named  weighed 113 pounds  and was set by Kolache Haven  at Denton, Texas, United States of America on October 17, 2010.
