Ginza Tanaka which is
one of the oldest jewellery shops in Japan takes
the expensive route for celebrating a
festive season. The jewellery shop could
see gold showing up in almost everything. Truly inspired by the old folk
tales decided to welcome Christmas in
their true trademark style filled with grandeur and elegance.
They roped in all
their skilled artisans to do what they are best at to sculpt
structures in gold to endure lavishness
and glee in the atmosphere. They erected the 24 k Christmas tree in their Shinsaibashi shop in Osaka, Japan
which weighed more than 21 Kilograms. Their insatiable
appetite for designing jewellery did not end with the structure alone. They
decorated the 24 K gold monument with almost 240 jewels which included strings
of pearls and diamond baubles. The
Christmas tree totally decked up as a rich bride was valued at a whopping 1.68 million U.S dollars
(150 million yen).
The Global economic
recession that had just started to set in as a dark cloud was showering the world economy with bearish and negative trends
in the development sphere. Even these
circumstances did not deter Ginza Tanaka
to compromise on a magnanimous celebration. They were large hearted to welcome the festive mood and make the people all around delve into joy and excitement. Although economic
sentiments proved not to entertain
celebration and happiness Ginza Tanaka
jewellery store took it upon themselves
to elevate the spirits by filling
gorgeousness everywhere. The economic slowdown is a temporary phase so it may seem sluggish for now but would
improve in a course of time.
The Most expensive
Christmas Tree was valued at 1.68 million U.S Dollars and weighed 21 kilograms was set by Ginza
Tanaka at Osaka, Japan on November 18, 2009.
