Bannister's Banana Wolrd

Is   Banana   your favourite   fruit ? Then if you happen to visit   Hesperia in California do not forget to take a look at  the International Banana  Club Museum .We bet once you go in your eyes would have a real feast of  bananas .There are a number of banana related objects  from banana shaped telephones to plush toys ,T Shirts the list seems endless. The brain behind all   this is the Banana man Ken Bannister. What better name can you give Ken who has   spend so much of time and energy into the banana world.

No, No we are not saying that you can take a bulk order of bananas from this guy  and he is not any banana wholesaler but if you just   take a glance at his banana innovation it shall leave you   spellbound. If it has something to do with bananas, it is here in this storefront museum. The items are sent in by members of the Banana Club, to owner Ken "Banana Man" Bannister. Ken has a funny element to him. He has founded the International Banana Club. He has taken his passion rather an obsession so seriously that if you call him President of   the club then the later does not welcome that. Instead He loves to be referred as the ‘Top Banana’. He has got stickers, books, lamps all in the shape of bananas. Ken feels that Banana is the most     funniest fruit. The Banana club is dedicated to influencing more smiles and exercising one’s humour.

Let us take a close up of   the largest collection of bananas   in detail.   In the "HARD" section: There are bananas made of brass, glass, lead, wood, plastic, ceramic, cement, soap and gold plated bananas. There are banana pipes, banana trees, pins, charms, belts, magnets, rings, cups, glasses, banana slicers, clocks, musical bananas, banana records, software, knives, and banana lights. Banana lamps and lights can be turned on. Lots of banana books are all over the place including four the museum is highlighted in. (Offbeat Museums, etc.)  The "FOOD , DRINK and NOTIONS " section displays all kinds of banana candy from the past 25 years, baby foods and juices, banana cereals, all kinds of banana drinks and even banana soda (with and without alcohol), banana tobacco and yes "banana popcorn"! More to say there are even banana cosmetics to the likes of  banana body spray, banana shampoos, banana suntan oils, lip gloss , banana toothbrushes and toothpaste and  yes even banana soaps.

   The "CLOTHING" sections include dozens of banana "T" shirts, shorts, pants, hats, and slippers. There are banana P.J.'s, suits, dress banana ties, scarves, towels, banana ears and the banana nose.

So we say that instead calling Banana Museum one could only see bananas everywhere. So we suggest a   name to Bannister that he could well consider naming it ‘Banana World’ too just like Disney world or Fun world.

The Largest collection of Bananas counted to over 17,000 banana related items and was set by Ken Bannister at International Banana Club Museum in Hesperia,  California , United States of America on February 20, 2010.
