Boots Staff go the Santa Way

We tell you how Boots staff went in to Santa’s boots   to notch up the Christmas festive spirit higher than ever. Giving surprise gifts to close friends and relatives not only strengthens the bonds but also adds up some flavor and spice to the relationships. We are living in  a fast paced life totally busy and involved with our personal stuff .By doing so we may tend to lose out on relations which  are like thin fabric that need to be maintained well to help tide over life smoothly. So giving timely useful gifts reassures the fact in people that they are always cared and are special  to us. You would be surprised to read this piece of news.  Many enthusiastic staff at Boots   head quartered in Beeston   created the   Largest   secret   Santa  exchanging  gifts  among themselves. Christmas is widely celebrated in all parts of the world and United Kingdom   is also no exception to this tradition. About   1,200   staff   turned to become secret Santas as they went on a gift exchanging spree among fellow colleagues and staff within the organization.
And this sweet gesture from the staff at Boots to exchange gifts with each other went on to become a record breaker. The previous record for the most secret Santa counted to  a mere 618 and this time the total skyrocketed to 1500 .The  Boots staff were determined to smash the  earlier record .Leanne Wells  the Christmas advertising manager at  Boots put it well that the company had been doing this every year but this time the response was too fantastic and over whelming. All staff taking part in the event squeezed into the main corridor of the building to exchange their gifts.
All the hard work finally paid off by making it into the World of Records. The preparations  had been  on the pipeline for a month. The basic budget of  £5 was  fixed  and teams got to work. But they were allowed to bring in their variations and style   for the gifting ideas  and that made the event even more successful. Some of the teams had even finalized on gifting  people something that they can wear. So overall it was exciting for the participants   which made the event look unique. Staff at Boots doubled the amount of people needed to get into the record books
The most number of secret Santa counted to 1,500 and was set by the staff of Boots at Beeston, Nottingham, United Kingdom on December 27, 2008.
