Toys and History

A toy soldier is a miniature  figurine   that represents a soldier .   It may amuse a child if it is a play thing or may   be a passion for somebody   who has got in to the hobby  of collecting those miniature models. So if you are fascinated by this idea then you must visit the Spanish museum in Valencia. So it could have looked   as though all the soldiers resemble toys in tandem.  The Muse Do Los Soldatitos   de Plomo   has gone on collecting toy soldiers  and miniature figures  to add sheen to the famed museum. There are a million pieces many of which   on display are historical dioramas and extensive battle scenes. Museum director Alejandro Noguera  has been a collector of the trinkets from childhood, a hobby inherited from his father, who used the toys as teaching tools for his children, and who himself had an extensive collection that now makes up a large portion of the museum.
The Muse Do Los Soldatitos   de Plomo   holds a collection of more than 85,000 toy soldiers  and many more in storage  thus amusing many historians  and antique lovers worldwide. The museum director Noguera  admitted that he credits the museum to his childhood interest  of even forgoing  holidays in   searching for  shops and flea markets trading in  toy soldiers. He got so immersed and involved in his father’s hobby  that collecting such models became a family affair for all of them.
It was through the toy soldiers collection that Noguera’s father taught them the dynamics of life and ropes of trade in business. Their father’s instruction would revolve around  second world war armies  which tided on diplomacy and economy  as ethos for business. They felt that if you had the knack of organizing an army then you can get your business also to good shape  was their ideology.
He had originally planned for the museum to only showcase his father’s collection but then he got into deep research on the subject   and ended making the miniatures himself .He also  got attracted to the stories they represented delving into various historical facts about wars  and worked on the historical scenes.
The Largest collection of Toy soldiers   counted to over 85,000 and was set by The Muse Do Los Soldatitos   de Plomo    at Valencia, Spain on February 13,2012.
