Wholesome Breakfast for a cause

Slow and steady wins the race so have one spoon  at a time leads you the world record way. The students at Blind Brooke Middle School for sure might well endorse the previous  statement . The event was sponsored by Stop & Shop and is part of an initiative created by the Middle School's "Destination Imagination" organization called "I Scream for Breakfast." All money raised from the program benefit the food pantry at the Carver Center in Port Chester. Thanks to the efforts of the 324 students, Stop & Shop, in addition to donating cereal, milk, and juice, made a $5,000 donation to the Carver Center's food pantry.
The 324 Blind Brooke students broke the world record  for the largest breakfast initiative to help  raise money and awareness  for the carver center. The students were very much happy to be a part of the world record    and were satisfied with the real purpose of the event. Stop and Shop manager of public  and community relations  Putterman  said that when the students from Destination Imagination pitched the idea to her she was almost swept off her feet. Thanks to the efforts of the 324 students, Stop & Shop, in addition to donating cereal, milk, and juice, made a $5,000 donation to the Carver Center's food pantry.  All money raised from the program benefit the food pantry at the Carver Center in Port Chester.
Some time back the students from Destination Imagination  orchestrated  a breakfast  themed flash mob  that raised more than $1,500  for the food pantry. Caroline Levine said that they wanted Carver Center to  actually know what they needed and realize that  the Center’s food pantry did not have any breakfast food. Even the officials at Carver Center were all in praise of the students   and admitted that they had  not expected this huge interest would come from the student fraternity.
The Largest cold cereal breakfast  counted to 324 students of Blind Brooke Middle School at Rye Brook, New York, United States of America on May 11,2012.
