Lots of Fish and Chips with Love from Yorkshire Pub

So if you have a fetish for chips and fish you would definitely want to know more about this piece of news.  The chefs at Wensleydale   Heifer   left no stones unturned to  fry the crisp  delicacies  to perfection. They made the Yorkshire Dale National Park their kitchen to dish out   101 lb (45 Kg)   serving of fish  and chips  using a 40 lb  fillet of prime  halibut. The chefs also used the Black Sheep beer batter. 60 lbs of hand cut chips and a vat of mushy peas to make the snacks attractive and colorful.
The previous record for the largest  serving of fish and chips combined weighed 35.26 kg (77 lb 12 oz) and were made by Icelandic USA Inc. at the Black Rose, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
The giant meal was prepared with a monster fillet of halibut – coated in more than four gallons of batter and fried in so much oil it needed seven hours to heat up – buckets of chips and accompanied with a vat of mushy peas. If you have a craving for chips and fishes this was probably the best time  you could have allowed yourself to indulge in the fries and appeased your taste buds.
Heifer has always been a renowned name  for quality fish and chips  so the record meant  getting all the recognition  and goodwill to  mainly England  and Yorkshire alone. David Moss the pub owner was glad at breaking the world record and thanked the staff of Heifer for their sterling efforts. The food tasted yummy and the organizers have planned to  serve in normal sized fillets. The World's Largest serving of fish and chips was prepared in a custom made giant pan and more than four gallons of batter were used to coat the fillet.  The largest serving of fish and chips in the world was shared amongst villagers at the American Independence Day weekend event, with donations going to Help the Heroes charity organization.
The Largest serving of fish and chips weighed 45 Kg and was set by Yorkshire Pub at West Witton, Yorkshire, United Kingdom on July 6, 2011.
