Largest Decorated Hat Contest

A fancy hat certainly looks good and if you wear it you would be the limelight of the event. This time it was the turn of a bunch of youngsters from Edward Field Primary School to come up with monarch themed hat designs. About 372 persons from the school designed 372 hats to make it a world record for the largest hat contest.
The previous world record for the largest hat competition counted to 281 participants and was set by St Margaret of Scotland Hospice (UK), in Clydebank, Dunbartonshire, United Kingdom.
The Edward Field Primary School youngsters came up with 372 themed concepts of hat to beat the St Margaret of Scotland Hospice record  by a  decent margin.
The contest fuelled the creativity in the students to come up with ideas. It also paved way for pursuing their passion which is instrumental  for honing the fine motor skills in the brain to bring out all round development.
The largest decorated hat contest  counted to 372 and was set by the youngsters of Edward Field Primary School at Kidlington, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom on June 4, 2012.
