Most People Dressed as Star Trek Characters

Star Trek the American science fiction   has a cult phenomenon. The Namco Bandhai group conducts  its business  in a  wide range of fields in the entertainment markets throughout the world. About 99 star trek fans   dressed as various star trek characters such as   in the Star Trek Original Series, Animated   series, Next generation   gathered at the  event organized by Namco Bandhai group. Star Trek online is the first massive multiplayer online   role playing game.  The game captivates the attention of the player as the player gets completely engrossed. Each playing individual becomes the captain of their own individual ship. The unique selling proposition has been  that the game is set  in a  war time Universe  in the year 2409. The Namco Bandai partners  are the distributors of the newly launched online game.

The whole idea behind the gathering of the star trek characters was to  get as many  trekkies as possible  to turn up at the London’s Millennium bridge. It was planned to be dressed a s a star trek character   on Valentine’s Day. The ninety nine enthusiastic fans were dressed as klingons, cardassions,  mirror universe characters , Vulcans, borg and federation characters.

Kraag Komaq Linkasa a star trek fan who was dressed a klingon said that they had spend  a lot on costumes and there were hardly few places  where one could actually wear them. He also said that this was the best opportunity to wear them. Lee Kirton  the Namco Bandhai head said that the turnout was truly fantastic. It was a testament to  the star trek fans amazing dedication.Kirton also added that the group was delighted to have set a world record.

The most number of people dressed  as Star Trek characters  counted to 99 and was set by Namco  Bandhai group at Millennium Bridge, London, United Kingdom on February 17, 2010.
