The prints of the
book comes alive. This was what the student of Carls Glenn Primary School had
in their mind. They have taken literacy to the next level by personifying and
portraying the bookish characters to real life. About 300 pupils, staff and
friends were dressed as story book
characters making the entire world
amazed by their revelation.
Derek Harkness the
principal of the school said that the entire experience was fun filled and the kids
were absolutely delighted. He hoped that their accomplishment gains entry in
the next edition of the world records. There were many fairy tales characters
being depicted from Ginger bread man, Hansel and Gratel, the two ugly sisters and
many more. A wide range of kids story books
was represented during the event.
Harkness said that it
was a tremendous achievement for the school and it was possible only because of a great team effort
from the entire school community.
Parents and staff have been working tirelessly over the past few weeks
to ensure that we were successful in our attempt. Along the way we hope that
this attempt also promoted storytelling in a fun and imaginative way.
The event was part of our 70th anniversary celebrations and we are delighted to be 70 years old and World Record Breakers
