Longest Ice Cream Dessert

St Anne’s School  just got a little ice cream crazy. They fed more than 400  with 45 gallons of ice cream from a 150-foot (45.72 meters) long marvel of pound cake, ice cream, whipped cream ,hot fudge  sprinkles and cherries  to make a long ice cream  dessert chain. The previous  record for the longest ice cream dessert  was a sundae  which measured 39.77 meters  and was set by kids Club in Brunswick, Georgia.
Christopher Lynn, a deputy sealer for the Northampton County department of weights and measures, gave the 150-foot sundae his approval. Lynn admitted that this was  his first gutter measurement. Pennsylvania state Sen. Lisa Boscola, alongside about 50 volunteers and students, chiseled away an enormous block of ice cream with a giant steel spoon to fill a long section of vinyl gutter.
Anthony Mongiello the St Anne’s Church Pastor  said that it was indeed a great idea  to make the long ice cream dessert  and the whole exercise inculcated in  fresh team spirit building  among the school students.
The students not only honed their culinary skills in dessert preparation   but also got a few insights on working together and getting things done within the stipulated time.
The Longest ice cream dessert  measured 150 ft  in length and was set by St Anne’s School in Bethlehem,  Pennsylvania, United States of America on April 9, 2011.
