Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae


Stephen Bruce, owner of Serendipity 3, partnered with luxury jeweler Euphoria New York to create the "Frrozen Haute Chocolate," a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the globe. The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate is served in a baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet with an 18 carat gold and white diamond bracelet attached to the neck. The goblet is further laced with 23 carat edible gold. The recipe includes Serendipity frozen hot chocolate mix that contains 14 rare and secret cocoas, 14 of the world rarest and most expensive cocoas from Africa and South America, milk, ice cubes whipped cream and shavings from the world's most expensive truffle, the La Madeline au Truffle ($2,500 a pound). Topping it with five grams of 24 carat edible gold, this opulent dessert is served with a $14,000 jewel encrusted spoon. The bracelet and the spoon belongs to the sweet-toothed customer who ordered this bejeweled dessert.
Bruce commented that  that it took  a long time  to come up with all the ingredients and flavours  and more than three months  to just design the golden spoon.   Four years ago, Bruce unveiled a $1,000 ice cream sundae called Golden Opulence, a staple on his menu and a favorite with rock stars, socialites and other celebrities.All the precious edible gold and truffles would definately come for a big price tag.Yes the ice cream sundae is priced at $25000.So hold on your breath while you read this price tag on the restaurant menu card.

   Both desserts are sold only with advance orders. Bruce said he has received inquiries about his latest creation, mostly from Europeans planning to visit New York.
The restaurant knows to treat their customers   in complete luxury. One could just get spoilt sitting on the lap of utmost lavishness and grandeur. The  Frrozen Haute has been the most  exotic and expensive  dessert treat on globe. So if you are famished by looking at it then we bet that you be  more than generous with your pocket.
