The students of Mill
Hill School had their dreams set
seriously high. They visualized a superman effect. We mean that they did not
become supermen but rather were on a superman song. Yes and they all choreographed
to the superman song number happily creating a world record as well. About 667 colourfully dressed students and staff of the school. They danced to the Black
Lace chart hit.
The previous world
record for the largest superman dance
counted to 369 participants and was set by William Edwards School and Sports College in Grays, Essex, United
Kingdom.
The head teacher
Sarah Graham said that the school’s efforts have not only landed them a place in the world of records but also has
enabled the school to
raise £5,000 for the charity Mencap.
Marie Brown of Men Cap said that instead of doing the
traditional boring staff the students got together to do something full of fun.
The going gets even more interesting when the fun filled process ends you
getting the coveted world record.
Brown added that from
a list of 12 record attempts the
pupils and staff chose to put up the
largest superman dance.
The largest Superman dance counted to 667 colourfully dressed
dancers and was set by Mill Hill School
at Ripley, Derbyshire, United kingdom on July 7, 2012.
