Restaurant in the Skies

It is envisaged as one of the finest luxury dining and lounge experiences in the world.  You would get a top class treatment as you are literally high up in the sky. Yes we are talking about Atmosphere   located on level 122 at 442 meters   height on the grand Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai. Atmosphere   presents a unique dining concept that appeals to all epicureans – from fine dining connoisseurs to lounge lovers. Adorned in mahogany walls and ceilings, Adam Tihany   furnishings and floors of café au lait limestone and hand-tufted carpet, Atmosphere can host over 210 guests and features a spacious arrival lobby, a main dining floor, private dining rooms and display cooking stations. Led by Executive Chef Dwayne Cheer, who brings in over 13 years of international experience working in Michelin star restaurants; Atmosphere integrates two choices - lounge & grill.
The new restaurant is spread over an area of 1030 square meters   which means that it is also 92 meters taller than the previous record holder   the revolving 360 Restaurant in Toronto’s CN Tower. The contemporary grille serves up exclusive European         cuisine. It cost an   average of  340 dirham. The main lobster costs 590 dirham (160 U.S. dollars), while 150 grams of Japanese Kobe Fillet are priced at 440 dirham (120 dollars).Appetizers will set you back another $50 each. The restaurant features a dramatic ambience with deep shades of amethyst and a rich combination of patterned velvets. This upscale lounge is an ideal stopover for a mouth watering light   lunch   or afternoon tea.  The restaurant is a real destination for all those who have an appetite for luxury    and   are trendy enough to indulge   in the ecstasies of life. Mohammad Alabbar   the chairman of Emaar Properties  said that Burj-Khalifa  has lived up to its promise of being a living wonder to people.
Atmosphere is a 57 second elevator ride up inside Burj-Khalifa. The executive Chef Cheer  tries his best to limit the number of times  he goes up every day. Cheer recommends the house specialties of foie  gras or the beef tartare--but prices here may burn the pocket books of all but Dubai's most well-heeled denizens.
The Highest Restaurant is set by Atmosphere located at the level 122  of Burj-Khalifa  and 442 meters in height at Dubai on January 24, 2011.
