The Museum of Science
and Industry have gone ahead in creating
a battalion of fictional characters. Yes the museum has gathered Dalekhs
the fictional extra terrestrial
organisms that are usually
portrayed in British Science fiction television series. The museum aimed at
collecting 50 Dalekhs but received a huge outpour of the science fictional characters.
About 70 turned up with their alien versions to promote the Doctor Who
episode exhibition which had gone
ahead to attract more than lakhs of viewers
to seeing the episodes. Simon Morell a Doctor Who fan said that although they were surrounded by 70 TV monsters the atmosphere was pretty relaxed and no exterminations took place.
Ian Griffin the museum director said that the Doctor Who episode continued to be the
most popular show and Dalekhs remained
to be the most popular exhibits of the
show.
The world record
attempt of the largest gathering of Dalekhs has been the most exciting events
happened in the museum that has captured
people’s imagination beyond compare.
Each had to be around 1.64 metres high with a single, staring eye,
plunger-shaped arm and a lethal gun attachment.
The Dalekhs - characterized by the catchphrase `Ex-ter-min-ate!' - have been a hit with audiences since they first appeared in the show in 1963.
