Mass Dance participation

If dance is your true passion then you would not mind the mercury soaring high under the sun's heat. And for these bunch of students and staff at Toronto's Ryerson University it is not a different story. These talented dancers danced their way to break the world record.
Ryerson dance students performed and led the throng through an original sequence for ten minutes, breaking the world record made on May 16 by 580 dancers in Birmingham, England. The current record in Canada saw 626 students taking part in the dance show at Dundas Square at the heart of Toronto city.So they have comfortably surpassed the previous Birmingham record.
The event was part of the university's orientation week for new students. It has been months of hardwork and coordination  between the students, orientation staff,Rez life staff, and 40 dance instructors of Ryerson Theatre school. The orientation coordinator expressed hapiness at the huge response and turnout for the dance event. They admitted the fact that they were eagerly looking forward to find  Ryerson's name in the world records books.
The Largest Dance Class was set by the 626 persons at Ryersons University at  Ontario,Toronto,Canada on  September 12,2007.
