A giant sized shorts from the desk of a tailor. There’s no better way to get yourself on the map than attempt to set a world record.  If you can do that, then you instantly get your name in the paper and all over the Internet.  Hence, when clothier Walter Sinnhofer wanted to draw attention to his business, which is making traditional leather shorts called lederhosen he made it a grand affair.
The lederhosen in question are over 15ft long and four yards wide, and took Sinnhofer two months to cut and stitch from 77 square yards of cow hide. They weigh a hefty 50kg.Tailor Walter Sinnhofer from Henndorf in the province of Salzburg said it took him nearly two months to produce a five meter high, four meters wide  lederhosen thus bringing in much fame to his shop and  skill before the world.

Lederhosen are a traditional men’s clothing in the mountainous regions of Austria as well as in the Swiss Alps. He already has form in the record-breaking lederhosen game, as five years ago.The Salzburg man  had already achieved the record for the smallest  pair of lederhosen  measuring just 38 millimeters long.
