A good news to agriculturists and farmers.The 570 horse power  AGCO Challenger MT 875B  tractor  has delivered a giant task which can just go out of your limits of imagination.Can you ever think of  cultivating a football pitch in a day.Forget just one football pitch this tractor has ploughed as much   area equal to almost  780 football pitches .Now did you get a feel of this large hearted tractor.
And just do not go by the general opinion that high powered vehicles fall  very low on mileage.Well although this may be true to the personal vehicles segment that is not the case with the tractor that we are talking about.The tractor was judicious enough to consume just 4 bottles of fuel for the entire stretch of 24 hours it took to  cultivate 644 hectares or 780 football pitches.The tractor was so fast and efficient enough to cultivate a football pitch every two minutes.So you can just think the Challenger MT 875B tractor   can  be the show stealer amongst other tractors .The tractor worked  with a set of 14 meter wide Gregoire Besson xxxl discs.

 The world record was established near Timisoara, Romania, with operator Benoit Verdin driving the tractor for the entire 24-hour period. The discs were set to a minimum depth of 10cm in medium to heavy clay loam soil. In 24 hours the machines covered an area 6.4 kilometres by 1 kilometre, which is the equivalent to a 155mm-wide strip passing around the equator.
