Largest Toran


Torans are good wall  hangings hanged at door entrance to welcome auspiciousness to the house.They are considered to be a symbol for attracting good elements to the house.We can see huge toran displays during festive occassion as many people buy colourful  hangings in the wake of  the celebration season.Toran is also decorated using marigold and mango leaves.Jyoti Chindak a talented artist  decided to use her creativity  by using this symbol of auspiciousness by making a world record.And in  doing so this  brought much smiles to her as it turned  out to be a world record.
An excellant artisan in crafts she made the toran using  net cloth,beeds,garlands,decorative kundan flowers  and a rope .By doing so she made the Shiva Ganga skating  club look all the more grander.
The toran piece measured 67.5 meter in length and was displayed at the Shiv Ganga roller skating club making the whole atmosphere splendid.
Jyoti Chindak has been a multi tasker throughout  and has created this in the lines of  traditional Hindu culture.With a bright red background cloth and decorating it with flowers and beads this hanging proved to be a show stealer.
The Longets Toran measuring 67.5 meters  was set by jyoti Chindak at Shiva Ganga Roller Skating club,Belgaum,Karnataka,India on August 5,2011.
