Largest Lego Model of Noah's Ark

Did you know some 150 school grade students have been taken aback?
They were forced by their parents and preachers to build  a 1:37 replica model of a non existent boat. But such should be happening only in fairy tales .
Kids at Harvest Bible Chapel have gone ahead to set something extrmely remarkable. The students combined 34,900 lego to build a Noah's ark.
The boat that the  kids made (not of gopher wood) was 12 feet long by 2 feet wide and 18 inches tall with three inner decks visible from an exposed side.  The Largest LEGO model of Noah's ark features the ark as well as a five-color rainbow overhead, surrounded by the words of Genesis 6:8: "But Noah found favor with the Lord." The model has set the record both in terms of dimension and brick.
LEGO shipped the pieces to Elgin from its world headquarters in Denmark, based on plans drawn up by plugging the biblical dimensions into a computer program .The  church officials  who were the architects pitched on the planning  and execution. The Ark remained on display for several weeks at the church campus in Elgin, Illinois. It is believed that God did help Noah  to build a massive ship  almost 450 ft  long  to withstand the ravages  of the year long floods.
This mammoth task of Noah  to  build the ark and save himself, his family and all the animals on the earth was nothing short of a divine intervention to salvage themselves from the heavy downpour.
This divine intervention claimed ages back has probably boosted the spirits of Harvest Bible Chapel. The architects in the church chapel steered the school children to   build a 1:37 model of Noah's ark with the featured  five coloured rainbow.
The Largest lego Model of Noah's Ark was set by Harvest Bible Chapel  along with the participation of  over 150 school children at Elgin,Illinois,United States of America on June 28,2009.
