A unique gold, diamond and ruby Christmas bauble, produced by high end jeweller’s Embee Jewels of London in association with Hallmark Jewellers, and valued at £82,000 is being sold to raise money for the charity this Christmas.This incredibly intricate piece, which took over a year to design and produce, is made of 18ct white gold, and encrusted with 1,578 diamonds, with a total weight of 18.64 carats. It is surrounded by two rings featuring 188 red rubies and three Roman Rub-over set one-carat diamonds. It is so valuable it is being kept in a steel-framed case surrounded by 6mm thick laminated glass.
The box is surrounded by a high tech microwave bubble, which sounds if it is broken, and even has an extra internal alarm which fills the shop with smoke if it goes off.

Just to give you an idea of the attention spent on it, over 130 hours were taken up just setting the gems in it.Mark Hussey owner of Hallmark Jewellers  was the brain behind the most expensive Christmas ornament.This was the second Christmas Bauble they had created and this one proved to be the most invaluable one of the two.He wanted Hallmark Jewellers name to become synonymous with Christmas the way Faberge has equanimity with   Easter Eggs.Hussey wanted his shop to always be closely linked to Christmas celebration.
The National Association of Goldsmiths have independently valued the gold and diamond bauble to be worth £82,000.00.It is very important to highlight the craftsmanship and excellence this beautiful ornament represents.
