Largest Dome Igloo

We have studied and heard of eskimos building igloos in cold countries. But this one is even going to take the eskimos for a good suprise.
Igloo designer Eric Ouellette and his team in Grand Falls used roughly 2,500 ice blocks to create a massive dome igloo measuring 9.3 metres in diameter, 5.4 metres tall and can hold roughly 300 people set the world record for the Largest Dome Shaped igloo.
The current record also happened to be a record breaker too.As the previous record for the Largest Dome shaped igloo measured an internal diameter of 8.3 meters,an internal height of 5.3 meters and was set by 'The Glow Crew'in Belluvue,Wisconsin,United States of America .
People in the Grand Falls love the igloo so much that they just cannot take their eyes off them. They want the place to be known as the igloo capital of the world and would do everything possible to retain the tag.
Quellette quoted that the igloo concept became an instant  hit among children. The structure looked amazing  and  excitement increases once you get inside the igloo.
Igloo can be built only on extrmely cold conditions and is built using ice blocks. So a bit of warm weather and rain tried to deter the pursuit of the volunteers.
Quellette had the assistance of 40 volunteers and the entire structure took almost two weeks to take off.
The Largest Dome Igloo measured 9.3 meters in diameter,5.4 meters in height with over 2500 ice blocks was set by Eric Quellette at Grand Falls,New Brunswick,Canada on February 22,2011.
