Largest Lego Santa Yoda

That was one good move with a noble motive behind it.Lego group decided to create a Yoda at Union square San Francisco to rebuild National consciousness  by advertising their website LegoSanta yoda.com .For every  greeting card booked through the site  Lego would donate a  Lego toy  each  to the United Staes Marine Corps  'Toys for Tots programme.

Lego Master builders gathered thousands of San Fransicans  and tourists to  construct  a 12 ft tall, Lego Santa Yoda with an ear span of 10 ft and weighed  nearly 4000 pounds. The Yoda was also built to erase the memory of the Star wars Christmas special from the public minds. The group wanted to get the public together to build  the yoda, create brand awareness of their site, and in return get everybody to  send e Greetings so that the Marine Corps kids are benfitted with a lego toy from the thoughful gesture.
It is always nice that  some unintentional act  of kindness benefits others.By sending E greetings through the site you are helping some deserving kid  a chance to be happy. Now that was a philantrophic idea  to build the Yoda getting help from the public and thus inspiring them to withdraw their attention  from the star wars and focus on something that was even more important.Inspiring the people to work together  and driving their energies  to a noble cause was something really an out of box idea thought out by Lego.
That is Corporate social responsibility delivered  beyond dimensions. The Largest Lego Santa Yoda  measuring 12 ft in height and weighing nearly 4000 pounds was set by  the people of San Francisco  in SanFrancisco ,California,United States of America on November 25,2011.
