Largest Cinema Screen


Pine wood studios a home to all James Bond movies has not only showcased Bond films  but has also done a James Bond effect.Pinewood has turned its unique outdoor water filming facility in to a giant cinema screen sized 240ft  wide and 60 ft in height.
Pinewood has transformed its unique outdoor water filming facility into the world's largest cinema screen, sized 73.1M wide x 18.3M in height. Filmed at Pinewood Studios, Mission: Impossible was inspired by the vintage espionage TV series and starred Tom Cruise.A delicious range of hot and cold refreshments can be delivered via waitress service directly to each car. The ticket price reflects the event aspect of the screenings, with the public expected to cough up 55 pounds ($88) per car for the VIP parking and service package, or 35 pounds ($56) per car for standard tickets.
From The Bourne Ultimatum to Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, Mamma Mia! to Superman, Pinewood and its sister studio Shepperton have helped create each film in the Drive-In series. Other titles being shown include Bridget Jones’ Diary, Slumdog Millionaire, Gladiator, Dr Strangelove and Batman Begins have all had theirDrive in series made in Pinewood studios.
The studio received the title of the Largest cinema screen at Buckinghamshire,United Kingdom on December 9,2009.
