Largest 3D Painting

The first of its kind anamorphic painting to have created a world record under two categories.Artist duo 3D Joe and Max collaborated with Reebok CrossFit to create an outdoor work out space which by looking would give you a cold feeling running down your spine that you might as well tread through this carefully.
Reebok Crossfit the revolutionary conditioning programme had teamed up with artists Joe and Max to create an impressive 1160.4  square meters street art.The work was unveiled at West India Quays ,Canary Wharf London.
The highlight of this 3D art has been the meticulous depiction of deep crevasses, cliff overhangs, and plunging water falls. This has made the work win the title of the largest 3D Painting as well as the longest 3 D Painting. The painting looks so real and magnificient that  just by the first look the illusionary feeling overtakes you.
The creation  by Joe and Max was commissioned by Reebok to help promote their Crossfit Sneakers and unique fitness experience. They wanted the event to give more fillip to the effective fitness programme. That would  prompt people to come back for the life changing fitness experience.

When it comes to admiring 3D street art, it's often a matter of perspective -- look at a street artist's design from one angle and it appears flat and distorted, but from another the illustration comes alive. The process is called anamorphosis, and requires the viewer to stand at a certain vantage point in order to view the three-dimensional image. The optical illusions have been popping up around the world from London and Spain to New York and Denver.
While some street works of art are more advanced than others, one thing stays the same -- the perception of depth in a (technically) two-dimensional illustration.
The creation took a week's time to get fully completed.

The creators of this splendid illusionary craft were delighted to crack the world record for the largest and the longest 3D painting ever made. And as they were London based artist it made them even prouder to bring the laurels to the city  which actually was  a originator  of 3D Art.With this world record Reebok aimed to change the idea and sentiments people had about fitness. The Largest 3D Painting set by Joe and Max  with Reebok Crossfit teaming up was achieved in London,United Kingdom on November 21,2011.
