Longest Career as a female Radio Presenter

In the radio Disk Jockey   Industry it becomes of paramount value to have  diversity  in his or her music choices,along with voice, attitude all play a  very crucial in the presenter always ticking the popularity charts in order to stay in business.That apart the Radio presenter should have a quick  mind,need to be abreast with the latest happening events,should be ready to adjust to formats and above all should specialize in a class of genre.The genre could be Rock,R& B,Country,Adult Contemporary the Radio presenter should behave his or her own uncanny style of presentation which could pave to expand  wider audience base and open new markets.
Having said so much we have now come in terms to understand the versatality required to be on job,ability to create   continouous demand and having all this retained for 5 years or 10 years is not a  big deal.
But we are spell bound looking at the achievement of Annie Nightingale for having been a regular fixture at the British Air waves for a good fourty years.
She has been the radio presenter for the British Broadcasting Corporation Radio 1  since 1970's and hence has earned the coveted ttle of the longest serving  female Radio presenter .
The Irish-born   Nightingale the   BBC Radio 1   host specializes  in  a  wildly energetic blend of styles and sounds, from grime and dubbing  to electro and disco-house. And that   has made her to be the most highly respected female DJs in electronic dance music, but also one of the most forward-thinking contemporary tastemakers. 
In this dynamically fast changing industry Annie Nightingale has been on business for so long and has managed to carve a niche for herself.She made news on September 23,2010.
