Another strong contender for Madonna but in the male category would definately go to Elvis Presley.If Madonna has been the most successful female artist having most of her albums copies both mixed and solo sold like hot pan cakes all over the world E;lvis Presley is not very far behind either.
With the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) going  ga ga over over Madonna and Elvis Presley these two artists have the entire pop music industry and fans at their feat.
Talking about Elvis Presley leaves us shocked when we see the patronage and fanatism he enjoys all over Europe,America and other parts of the world.
We even got to know that the star performer has a statue dedicated to him build by a fan from Romania.This is a clear testimony of the amount of adulation the legend in Elvis Presley enjoys in the music industry.
Further for the record Elvis Presley is estimated to have sold over one billion record units  world wide more than any other artist in the music recording industry.In America alone he had 150 different albums and singles certified as Gold,Platinum, or multi platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The United States Junior Chamber of Commerce named Presley one of the most outstanding young men  for 1970 in a ceremony.That would have a real proud moment for the star.That shows the outstanding  personal achievement presley had contributed during his career..
