Can you imagine a fountain performing a dance number?It may seem like the water oozing out from the nozzle due to high pressure looks like a beautiful mermaid shaking legs and dancing to a  rhythm.Yes that is what you get to see in the Dubai Fountain.It is probably the largest display of water jet gushing out of the puddle .The fountain has many high pressure water jets and shooters  to create a spectacular dance show.Currently the world's largest performing fountain, The Dubai Fountain is basically "set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas.The Dubai Fountain is a thirty-two-acre lake with five rings of high-powered water jets leaping over 140 meters into the air, visible from more than 20 miles away-setting the  world record for the largest performing fountain .The engineering and entertainment marvel's innovative use of projected light allows for the fountain to be visible from more than 20 miles away.
The fountain has the oarsmen or the water robots that can pan and tilt the water any way which may seem like an elegant dance movement.There are alsot he super shoters and extreme shooters Super shooters can shoot water high up in the air almost up to 240ft .Then there is the extreme shooters the latest technological entrant which can shoot water under utmost pressure  as high as 500 ft.The shooters (Shooters, Super Shooters, and Extreme Shooters) are the fountains that create the loud, percussive bang or boom noise after being ejected. This creates a sound of a drum used to further enhance the music. (Ex. In the end of most songs, the Extreme Shooters are used to create a last boom sound to end the music and show.)The Super Shooters and Extreme Shooters are the fountains that are used the least during each show. Because it takes so much pressure and energy to be able to shoot water that high in the air, it takes much time to build up that pressure.The Dubai Fountain can spray 22,000 gallons (83,000 liters) of water in the air at any moment. More than 6,600 lights and 25 colour projectors have been installed.
