Largest Sheet Fortress

Now that was something to test your creative skills in an unconventional way.We will help you know that and as you read down it would really get more exciting to know even more.Residents of Halberdier Club of Tarkington Hall  have built a fortress of 563 white bedsheets, normally used during summer months for visiting campers living in the residence halls, setting the new world record for the Largest sheet fortress.
The fortress had a sheriff's room,a video game room, a card playing room, two lounges,a disco lounge, dining room and even a throne room.
Residents began constructing the sheet fortress at 6 p.m. Friday night and worked through Saturday. The tent was taken down at 1 a.m. Sunday morning. The lobby of the fortress was as much the size of an NBA basket  Ball court and the rooms were almost half the size of the court.Technology college students helped  build the tent and lines of ropes held the sheets together.
The previous record for the Largest Fortress was also set by Halberdier club but however it was constructed only in the lobby. But the current one that we are talking about also set by the club stretches from the Tarkington Hall lobby to the west activity room.
The Halberdier club has broken their own record this time around  by creating the Largest sheet fortress at West Lafayette,Indiana,United States of America on April 30,2012.
