Lego has its origins in Billund,Denmark and was founded by Kristiansen family in 1932.
South Korea decided to celebrate LEGO Corporation's 80th birthday by erecting a 105 ft. high "skyscraper" in front of Seoul's Olympic Stadium.The tower was created with over 5,00,000 bricks and sets the world record for the Tallest Lego Tower which can be called the finest tribute to the company with over 80 years of existence.People have shown their gratitude,love and patronage to Lego by creating this huge tower.Having been in to the business of inculcating children's creativity through play Lego got back what the corporation truly deserved. The ideaology of Learning through play which the company wholly supports should be comprehended in the education sector all over the world.The child's five senses,hand eye coordination,gross and fine motor skills are all put to work which can later help in nourishing the child' intellectual development.
It took 4,000 children and five days to construct this 105 ft. high building in Seoul, South Korea. Over 500,000 bricks were used in the making of the tower, which was constructed in front of Seoul's Olympic Stadium.
The Tallest lego Tower was created by the 4,000 children of South Korea near the Olympic Stadium on May 17,2012.
