Longest Church Organ Marathon

Jacqueline Sadler aged  39   and  the music director of Eastminster Church in Canada   had big plans for a fund raising program.
Sadler played the church organ for a total of 40 hours, 36 minutes and 8 seconds non-stop. This went on to become a world record breaking feat  as Sadler had surpassed the current record of 40 hours, 3 minutes by Michael Servant of Norway .Servant had  played at St. Mark's English Church in Florence, Italy. Sadler took the onus of the fund raising project wholly upon herself as she did not involve many persons to be a part of the concert. The choir was fabulous and  she trained well enough for the concert putting all the musical pieces together.
The East minister Church required the money for its upcoming music programme and what better way to raise money by   doing  that   musically  itself.
Sadler was allowed a five minute break each hour and 30 seconds break after each song. She   was successful in helping the church   collect   9000 Dollars by the end of the musical marathon. Each song was required to be played for a minimum  2 minutes .
Sadler credits her bunch of team members in making this marathon a reality and she is estimated to have played over 1000 pieces.
Now that was really amazing and she made news of having achieved the longest church organ marathon at East minister United Church, Toronto, Canada North America  on June 28,2011.
