Longest Street Concert


The longest street concert  by the German musicians  paved a grand  response for  the city’s Popkomm International Music Trade Show .The event steered  and activated the audience at the Berlin Music Week  which commenced from September 6 to September 12. A group of German musicians, led by 24-year-old German singer-songwriter Samuel Harfst, played their own tunes, as well as covers and songs from other bands, during a 24-hour street concert in Berlin. The concert began at the entryway of   former Tempelhof airport .The trio played their own tunes  and   songs from other music bands  and kept the spirit of the street concert alive by attracting crowd and making the moments electrifying with their performance. The musicians were allowed a break of 5 minutes after every 1 hour but they paused to  take a break of 20 minutes after every 4 hours. The   marathon started at 10.55 am and even held  an a modest audience of 10 persons   in the wee hours o at 3.15 am   the  next morning .
The PopKomm   trade  is considered very important as it  involves the participation of more than 470 exhibitors  from 20 countries  being a part of this music trade fair. The   street concert marathon   was  performed at Berlin, Germany on September 10,2010.
