Largest Violin Ensemble

Playing music has been one of the most sought after options and is  considered a  privilege among most parts of China and Taiwan.What could be a  better and finer  occassion to make  children come together and play music ?
The Local Government had taken the initiative to provide the opportunity to all students to learn musical instruments. About 172 elementary and junior high schools located in an around Changua County made their students  to play  violin  and participate in the grand ensemble.A massive gathering of 4645 students played violin at the local stadium
Learning musical instruments  was  primarily affordable  only by  the affluent families was made mandatory to all the kids coming from the poorest and remote areas.The local government was determined to bestow this honour of learning instruments to all the students.
Changua predominantly was  known to be   an agricultural center also aimed to be  famous for music too.During the performance the young musicians played  three pieces  of music composed by local composer Arbin Yang " The Changua Concerto,in  praise of Changua and the Joy of National Games.
The current record had  surpassed the previous violin record in 1925 when 4000 persons had played the string instrument together in London.This  achievement has been the result of the efforts of the local schools and teachers.
The Largest Violin Ensemble  performance was set  at Changua County,Taiwan on  September 19,2011.
