Longest Guitar Marathon

We are telling you about the modern day story of try try till you succeed.This has been the case with many youngsters who are prepared to go that extra length to prove their potential to the world.Now that has been the modern day idealogy among youth.There have  been many instances in recent times about the youth coming back stronger and signing off on a victory note.
Now that was really a good news to see the generation as mentally tough citizens on the world stage.We are talking about Andy Hike aged 39 years  who played  for a non stop 60 hours more than 1000 songs at Thunderbird Cafe.. You would all be even surprised to know that this guy is so throughly adept in guitar skilss that during the show he has managed to play a full gig.He played the instrument behind his head,  played both right handed and left handed and  even  blind folded .That was a true piece of mastery in his trade.
The rules however  were to not repeat the songs for a four hour period, songs should be atleast two minutes long and could have a break for five minutes  after   every one hour.Not new to break and challenge record Hoke Undertook a 48 hour marathon  at ThunderBird Cafe  way back in February 2007.
However in June some other musician from India broke Hoke's record of 48 hours by performing for 53 hours .
That was something Hoke took very seriously  to his heart and decided to give it a fitting reply on a positive note.
He played non stop for 60 hours playing 1000 songs  and reclimed his title of the Longest Guitar Marathon at Lawrenceville,Pennyslvinia United States of America on January 15,2009.
