promises to deliver some of the most exciting and anticipated television over
the Christmas period, whilst also raising money for many UK based charities. The appeal to the public
is to donate money mainly via text donation and profits from merchandise
The
previous record for the Largest Secret Santa counted to 1270 and this time it
required just so much to break the record. But ITV staff had big plans and as
much as 1562 persons came
together to smash the earlier record.ITV Staff from locations all
around the country including the Emerdale and Coronation Street studios also
took part along with guests and charity partners to raise awareness of the Text
Santa appeal.
The Largest secret santa was set
by the 1562 ITV staff at London,United Kingdom on December 7,2011.
